I came into the company as one of the early aquisitions, it was difficult to integrate, not a lot of time was spent on our group as a whole. I was a valued respected leader until another new aquisition added another layer of management, I'm very concerned about what will happen with the next one.

Everyone is very friendly, it's difficult being in a remote workforce to gain value from friendships

They consistently put the customer first no matter what kind of hurdles we have to jump to get there.
What makes you most happy at work?
Making a difference with a customer or an employee. Finding a solution to an issue and executing it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Overall everyone seems to lift each other up, very supportive, ready to help when needed, and no question is dumb, just ask!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Company works hard to keep the medical premiums down, incredible match on 401K. symplr really cares about the benefits it offers it's employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
bonus plans are not defined, and if we came into the company with a bonus plan identified in an offer letter, it is always up in the air to whether or not that gets paid out.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is dedicated to their customers sucess. They are collaborative and look for new and interesting ways to make our processes better. Most of my team used to be customers, they bring first hand knowlege to their customers that cannot be taught.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Resource issues have always been a problem, no changes there. Product is poorly tested leaving that testing to the customers to find bugs, puts us in a bad light. However the ELT is all sunshine and roses on company calls, not true to the teams with the boots on the ground.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is too much churn in leadership. Teams are getting shifted around yearly. Consistency is the way to build a strong dedicated team and having to start over with a new leader every year sets us backwards. The leadership team has no support or investment in them to become better leaders.
