I love symplr. I have successfully referred multiple people to work here and I will continue to because I believe in this company. We are doing great things; I would love to see the same level of benefits for hourly employees as there are for salaried to show that you value all of your employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I am able to accomplish a difficult or lengthy task. It makes me feel accomplished because usually I will have learned something in the process and I love to learn. symplr encourages learning.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people that I engage with every day. My team mates are amazing to work with, and the clients are kind and intelligent. I love working with and alongside people who have a high level of emotional intelligence.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work hard and we work together. We collaborate well. We are all laid back and able to relax while we get our work done. I know that it's okay to not know the answer and I'm never afraid to speak up and ask questions.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Recently they made the shift to move my org to hourly from salary. While I understand this was to stay in line with regulations, due to 'company policy' they took away their permissive PTO as well. This shows that they clearly don't value their hourly employees as much as their salaried ones.
