Structure, and keeping talent. Paying managers and sales team what the my deserve. Better comp plan for sustainability

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The goals/budgets are not set with any consistent format and are not realistic to maintain at times. The overperformers are rewarded by higher expectations the following year with unrealistic budgets.

Underpaid, treated unfairly, and too many responsibilities.

Completely underpaid, you are expected to bring in revenue at the cost of minimum wage plus "commission" which you hardly ever get

I feel most everyone works way too hard here and doesn't get paid accordingly.

Paid minimum wage as a sales associate. Nearly impossible to break the threshold to receive commission after January (New Years resolutions...). Lied to about threshold and was told I should start driving for uber, claim my sister's children on my taxes, & go to the mall on my time off to advertise

The employees are great and the company is really lucky that they stick around

Majority of employees here are great, except they tend to get hired and leave often. Very high turnover rate. The club managers are often terrible here.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It is way too impersonal and I see favoritism occasionally which is unacceptable and certain people get in trouble for issues and yet other employees do the exact same and don't get in trouble at all.

They keep their employees just under 40 hours so they don't have to provide benefits but they also don't have time for a second job

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The club managers need to be changed drastically and they need to stop getting rid of the employees who are actually good workers and have a valuable day to day interaction with many regulars there.

Company treats employees and customers like money makers and nothing else. My manager was a liar and completely misled me on the kind of money I was making. He lied and took advantage of customers who could not afford the membership.
