Alot of the things I enjoyed about coming to work evryday from our previous company before Aevex took over are now gone and so is the better benefit package. I think it safe to say that a lot of people assumed that benefits would be better along with pay. Pay is better but benefits worse
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
The benefits. I have been with the company for over 10 years and my vacation time is only 1 week more than someone that has been here for 10 days. Ca law is 5 days sick and that is taken from pto which is Horrible. Attractive to new workers. Not taking care of seasoned people. Too many meetings!!!!!

Our leadership team is personable and listens when there is a issue.

Exercising my brain, helping less skilled workers, and being needed throughout the day for important projects.

My team is great at working together to accomplish our set goal. Most people on my team are skilled in their own unique way. Most are friendly and easy to work with.

At Aevex Aerospace (French Valley) we are a Very diverse community and are committed to training and retaining quality people to all reach a common goal of making the world a safer place.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Honestly...it was decent and now it just keeps getting worse. more and more gets taken away from us. Aevex does the California bare minimum when it comes to sick time, insurance, and overtime/holiday structure.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better medical insurance with less out of pocket costs for family as a whole. Better Kaiser plans. Better dental benefits for family. Stop doing the California minimum when it comes to pto ,overtime, sick leave laws. BETTER BONUS STRUCTURE! I used to receive about 3k per year for doing my job.
