Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

We have been unable to generate a stable/usable work schedule for OCONUS workers for over 3 years. Making sacrifices to honor our companies billets is never rewarded, management promises they'll do anything for us, but don't circle back to make promises a reality. It feels stagnant.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I wish we could re-work the physical fitness benefit, to better assist deployers. Being able to buy fitness equipment for when we're home, or a fitness tracker/device while we're deployed would be a nice benefit, since most of us don't have a regular enough life to make the gym benefit meaningful.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I wish the ability to move up within the company wasn't blocked behind a degree wall. It'd be nice to keep building upon previous experience and going through a college program doesn't necessarily apply to the work we actually do.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My manager is extremely personable, available and approachable.

What makes you most happy at work?

Doing the work. Saving the plane.

What makes you most happy at work?

Doing my job and the people I work with.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They respond when messaged as opposed to silence/being left on read.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They listen, conversation feels meaningful, even if goals stated cannot be achieved.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The coworkers are the best part of the job next to the actual task at hand.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Overall I'd say we're pretty cohesive, and willing to work out issues/gaps together. Everyone is fairly flexible.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Generally everyone has a good attitude and the folks who don't have the best attitude/motivation seem to weed themselves out.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

When they do communicate, they invest the time to answer questions asked. Outside of these brief windows for communication, things are pretty sparse.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I think it's really cool that the CEO is willing to respond to regular Q&A sessions through email, that's something I've never witnessed before.

What makes you most happy at work?

The job, I like the high pace work environment and solving problems as they present/evolve. I wish there were more opportunities to work upwards.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I really like our benefits for the single member, even though the out of pocket expenses have gone up. I wish our company matched higher for 401k matching.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The insurance coverage we have is pretty great, while it would be nice to have a choice to pay into SDI or not, when needed the benefit was really nice.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

They make a big point to help with fitness/education benefits, but if you fall outside of their perfect view of how to utilize the benefits, they're useless and can't be utilized.

What makes you most happy at work?

Doing my job, hoping to do my job more or getting to take a more active leadership role, a role that doesn't exist with our current leadership hierarchy. Especially without a degree.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Great communication, a relaxed attitude but want to get the job done. Most of us want to be better and those who aren't stretching to be the best at the very least aren't dragging others down.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I liked out retirement package when we had a bit more control/communication with our retirement portfolio manager, ever since they swapped teams, it's very robotic, not really sure what's going on with retirement savings like I once did.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I don't believe there is a truly positive culture, I think the goal is to fill billets, I don't believe that any of our wants actually matter and the culture doesn't extend to folks who deploy, only the stateside crew.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

How well we mesh with other companies, it isn't a competition and though obviously our company is the most important (in our point of view) we don't let that get in the way of working together with others as a team.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I don't believe for the extra hours/work put in I've caught up or exceeded the baseline. Everyone talks hourly/salary rates and I know that I'm still behind even though I'm regularly giving up holidays and personal time to meet the goals of the company. When I 'do' ask for more time it's denied.
