A maternity/paternity benefit beyond FMLA (federally directed and does nothing more than hold a job I know I wouldn't lose given the attrition) and PTO (earned at a rate that isn't sufficient to cover time needed for a newborn) or short term disability, which requires more work than worth for the pa
