When I first started it was great. I now see benefits slowly being taken away. Pro Dev reduced. Xmas parties gone. Birthday gift cards gone. $100 new phone stipend gone. As the company grows it is impossible to put employee happiness at the fore front. The Thrill is Gone! Maximize Profits!

Overall positive experience. It seems that as the company grows, it becomes less of an employee focused company.

In reagards to how the company views the people, it started off better than where it seems to be going. The bigger the company the less they can invest in people.

Everyone is helpful and team work oriented

Everyone seems to get along and happy to work together.

Most everyone seems content. I wouldn't say happy but content.

Working from home. Having to waste time driving makes me sad.

Team work, everybody gets along. Willingness to help each other. No whiners.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
putting people first. Seems like AEVEX lost its way and is now just chasing money. Understandibly as it is a buisness. Turn over seems high and this is an indicator.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
All Benefits are standard. There is nothing that stands out above the rest. Benefits would not be a reason to come to AEVEX. At the same time, they are not bad. Increase 401K matching by a percentage or 2. Decrease the cost of healthcare.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is no equitable way to be recognized. If you have a good manager or perhaps a manager that is loose with recognition they will put you in for an award. Some wont do it because they are over burdened and a write up is extra work. Also awards are used in lieu of raises.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What do I like least is a better question. I think there is a lack of trust in the leadership team. I believe that as the company gets bigger it becomes less employee focused. They are doing what is best for the company and the shareholders. It is what they are supposed to do.
