What makes me most happy at work is engaging teammates who care.

When I'm valued and listened to. Working in the development of something bigger.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pay is competitive, but bonuses are not available for those below the Director level.

Having a supportive supervisor who is there when needed but does not micromanage me and the team.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like that they show they care and try to listen to feedback. They seem open to improving processes when they are not working.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We have made improvements in pay and benefits in the last year which is much appreciated. Although I don't believe our package in pay and bonuses are competitive.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

My coworkers are overworked with limited resources in critical programs. Not enough program managers, project managers, project controllers, and finance support for the level of required effort put forth by senior leadership.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I don't think all the positions are paid fair market value. Having only two weeks of PTO (combining sick leave and vacation) also made me feel undervalued since it takes 5 years to increase that number.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like that they seem open to doing things better and take recommendations into consideration. We can generally have open conversations on what is frustrating us or what needs improvement or there is at least a forum for it.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communicating across the entire organization within the division. Information is not being properly disseminated to the lowest level. The push for standardized processes is not adequately supported. Not enough time and resources are invested in proper implementation of systems such as new ERP.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Leadership does seem engaged. For example, having this survey sent out shows they want to hear how they are doing in a non threatening way. Feedback is also taken and although maybe a change can't be made at that moment leadership is not dismissive or afraid to hear it.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Positives are we have the AEVEX culture commitment that we can point to and teach when we hire a new employee. The values can be leaned on in tough times and remind us of what we strive to be. Our People's team (HR) make effort to help each an every person in the company.
