Honestly, if it wasnt for our manager I would not be working with AEVEX. He has a way of mentoring us and helping us see through contract related issues. Not the companies fault, customer is very spastic.

During my 9 year employment, it has had its ups and downs. Overall I am happy to be a part of this growing company.

I beleive the company is doing very well. I am in a small shop with only 4 employees. We generally do not deal with upper management. Our manager keeps us informed.

I like that we are not micromanaged, or constantly "checked up on"

Manager seems to take care of us pretty well. Biggest complaint is pay is not competitive.

Whats crazy is we all have different professional backgrounds and personalities, yet we all work well together.

I currently work as a subcontractor, Yet, the prime contract treat us as one of them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like all the options. I wish the 401k match was more along other companies. 100% match up to 6%.

Our PM is outstanding. He is always there if we need something, and will do what he can to provide for us.

Honestly our benefits are just average at best compared to similar companies. Most companies I have looked at provide more PTO, and 401k match.

Manager is always here for us. Even though he is at a different location. He is quick to assist us in everything we need.

We all take care of eachother. We have to deploy at a moments notice, and someone is always to put personal time aside do what is needed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being a small shop, we all step up and take care of eachother. Example: Spouse having surgery and needing someone to fill in on a deployment or TDY.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Its okay. Most companies have better 401k packages and PTO programs. My 401k for example has been reduced due to not matching Danger Pay. PTO for most other companies I have looked at are at a much higher rate then what we currently receive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We travel a lot individually for months at a time. Not having a manager at our location does have its drawbacks, with continuity. However, we all take turns managing the day to day. Our actuall manager is at a different location. He is awesome and takes care of any issues we are unable to.
