Its an average experience. I;ve had more growth and I'm learning far more than at previous jobs. I would like to take more pride in the products we create and not always rush things out the door. Additionally I'm a big believer in unlimited PTO and the take it as you need. Would l like to see this.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Company used to be a standout place to work. But lately their has been a lot of changes and it is trending to be more like every other generic defense contractor.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership does seem to be invested in the employees. They are always willing to listen to feedback
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very motivated by the little benefits like the lunches and carwashes. Makes those days ectra exciting
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Hands down the employee development fund. Using it towards flight lessons has really enhanced my skills in flight ops
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Recently company has been cracking down on benefits (lunches, snacks, etc) and I wouldnt be surprised if we see a benefits cut with the 2026 benefits plan
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We have a lot of differences as a team. Which is a good thing to have. It would just be nice if everyone had better attitudes about what we do
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Need to define a clear goal for the organization. A few years ago we were building aircraft for a specific cause, now we are just building at random based on small needs. Feels like we are circling without direction
What makes you most happy at work?
This question I'm more neutral on. We have good days and bad days (as all jobs should). Some weeks its a little rough dealing with everything going on. Other days its really exciting watching the team come together to complete a task.
