It's good but leadership and executive team are making mistakes. Many people shouldn't have been hired in various rolls. There are many incompetent people and competent employees are covering.

Working with really smart engineers and working on impactful work

Highly skilled engineers that are motivated and do good work on their projects

Paying engineers overtime, understanding how much work engineering does and knowing how much value engineering provides.

When I don't have to deal with incompetent PMs and get to focus on engineering and solving problems

Pay that equates to how much work I actually do. Bonuses or percentage of a project when it is successful.
