I was brought in well underpaid where new hires after me got paid significantly more and didnt come close to the same quality of work or sacrifices i made and i still stayed loyal. Plenty of people have left and ive had the same offers and turned them down. My manager is amazing but higher ups not.
I want to believe the company is going places but at the same time they seem hesitant on projects when they ask what equipment is needed. Also pay should be adjusted based on effort put towards the company. employees seem and feel under payed everyday for work stress of project managers.
We all listen and keep open minds.
Assessment of pay for skilled employees.
My overall pay is not allowing me to stay financially comfortable in life, im struggling.
we can all come together on common grounds to get task completed timely without lacking quality.
my co workers, we keep each other on task and help each other in tight situations.
My direct manger makes it a point to have a great relationship with everyone on the floor.
I still don't feel or understand the "culture" here, but what makes it a positive enviroment is me having a good relationship with ALL my conworkers.
Better compensation for my skill set and overall contribution and sacrifice for the company. Im an asset thats been proven very hard through my work and devotion.
I've displayed my advanced skill set and sacrificed valuable time to insure projects were completed even though I was not obligated to be here or expected to be here. I volunteered because I personally wanted to see the project finished.
I have personally made it a thing to establish some sort of comradery with every individual so we can be an effective well oiled wheel, thus making our communication on project goals very clear so we can assist each other where needed.
Proper wages is an extreme issue and a topic discussed numerous times a day with multiple employees. We are not compensated fairly for the stress to work ratio. The demand for high quality work doesn't meet the wages I am paid for.
There doesnt seem to be enough recognition or acknowledgment of hard work. People want to be able to promote to better positions and that doesn't happen here. Some people want to get their A&P's and current certified A&P's don't sign off or acredit mechanics.
I am able to and have worked multiple jobs fully exploiting every skill set i have and have always been praised for excellent work, but praise doesn't pay the bills. This compant does not offer competitive wages and it seems they don't want to see others doing better than them.
My skills are far greater than what im paid, 6+ years military on multi aircraft got me started at $24 and through much very hard work and complaining barely got me to $38. Not nearly close to what other companies pay which leads me to constant stress as i dont want to leave but find myself stressed
