Good experience, but very poor transition as a new employee that joined just as two different parts of the organization were being mashed together. Because of this both sides missed training needed, and resources to help me get my job done and they are still missing
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
AEVEX has great potential but is hampered as it transitions from a quick reacting, agile support to the warfighter to a staid and stoic mid-tier defense contractor. They are moving forward with tools/processes too dot the I's and cross the T's but they don't do sufficient training on the new tools

Pay is about 20% lower than expected

Great mix of folks with experience as warfighters, or supporting the warfighter and of those outside the fence

compensation is a bit low for the area and the role. additionally, the benefits are sub par to include dental, vision, medical options and opportunities for other compensation
