Good benefits Perks started out ok, but loss of free lunch and snacks/drinks were a disappointment. Wish I could WFH more. Wish more focus on passing down a positive culture, instead of consumed with go-go-go. I like the work itself but would like more management buy-in of following processes.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that the leadership team is constantly trying to get us more business.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positive: accepted desire to learn and evolve from a small start-up to a process-driven environment.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My Team is smart, and no one is a slacker. Based on workload, we would benefit from adding a few more to the team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Medical insurance (although it would be lovely to get actual sick time instead of having to use PTO. See FAR 52.222-62 PAID SICK LEAVE UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER 13706 (JAN 2022).)
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Consumed with go-go-go, instead of following the processes. AEVEX keeps laying people off - it sucks the life out of the vibe/culture. Usually, employees get raises every 12 months - doesn't happen here. Work/life balance disappeared during Atlas push. Employees were rewarded with loss of snacks.
