Been part of the many acquisitions that Aimbridge has had over the years. Well-integrated, well-run. When I seek more responsibility or assert a different way to accomplish something, it's well-received.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Collaborative, highly engaged and team players. We focus on getting the job done and doing it right. We truly aspire to be servant leaders.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

New team in town. Taking the time to understand the operation and fully-comprehend where improvements are critical versus needing to be addressed. Not afraid to make decisions - but doing so thoughtfully.

What makes you most happy at work?

Diversity of the job. There's always a new challenge to be met. Oversight is decent but not micro-managed. Everyone is too busy to micro-manage. Love getting a new challenge, some direction and told to run with it.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Big company but feels smaller than it is when we come together for either celebrations or for collaboration. It may take a while to know who is who if you're just starting - but easy to find your way around who does what just by asking someone.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Comp is increased incrementally by roughly the same % annually. A thorough wage analysis needs done to reduce compression. Senior Managers are being hired at the same rate of pay as VPs who have been in their roles for a long time receiving only 3% annual increases.
