Aimbridge Hospitality – Absolutely awful, this is the most poorly managed property I have ever worked in. The General Manager, The "Chef", and the Assistant General Manager have absolutely no business managing a property this size. The Chef doesn't even have real experience as a chef. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

That we are all on the same team, outside of management.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel incredibly under valued and I'm not sure that it can be made better.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Myself and all of the other employees work together well and continuously work toward the same goals.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

300 letters is not enough to describe the issues that have engulfed this property since opening. the main issue is that the GM has no idea what anything outside of Rooms operations looks like he's clueless. As a result, the chef does nothing and is barely at work and the AGM does essentially nothing

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

I work at the newly opened Hyatt House/ Hyatt Place located in the Houston Medical Center. Since I have started it has become clear to me, after 12 years in the Hospitality Industry, that the people that have been put in charge of this property have no clue what they are doing, absolutely no clue.
