Aimbridge Hospitality – We had a big challenge within our department this year, but that has been fixed. I have enjoyed bringing in new clients to the Hotels and bringing in the revenue. I work very hard at what I do and would love to work more from home. The meetings tend to be long but I enjoy working with everyone. | Comparably

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It's a great company as a whole. I feel PTO and sick can be better based. When I got hired the company told me I was getting 2 weeks vacation but no one told me I'd have to accrue it. The Onboarding was not very good either. But it's gotten much better. But I really enjoy the company as a whole

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I sell for 3 hotels and based in NYC, I feel that I get paid for if I was working for one hotel. Based on my experience I feel it should be more. I did ask for a raise and did receive it but I didn't want to ask for too much.

What makes you most happy at work?

I'm happy coming to work to sell and enjoy my team. I just don't like the office that I am in. My boss and the ops team have definitely "spruced" it up but sometimes the tools needed is not up to par. Sometimes the internet is down or i can't connect and feel wfhis much more productive.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

One executive team member complains alot when we ask her a question. I like that they give us the flexibility of working remote. I like that they celebrate us all the time. I also don't like when my GM is late to a meeting that is okay but when we are late to his meeting - he is VERY upset.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We work in the basement but our desks are really small. The building is old and we've had water damage in our office. The hotel does take care of us when the water is damaged but since we're in Sales I feel like we can just work from home and use our office space for operations. I WFH 2 days.
