Barracuda has for years been behind the pay curve, so many people leave and get higher pay for the same kind of job. Also, people that have been here for many years do not seem to get any better pay than a new hire.

Sometimes they get very emotionally upset on calls and it's distracting.

Many Cuda legacy employees are slow to change and have adopted negative behaviors from their past experiences. They can be distrustful, overly concerned with CYA and quick to assign blame to others. They have been burned in the past and will do whatever they can to avoid a repeat.

The question is to tough for me. I love working on projects learning new things & discovering what we can do to improve in the company. I also love interacting with the people I work with. I love to leave at the end of the day knowing I have helped my colleagues & tomorrow we can better today.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I get anxiety created by the toxic work culture. In the past I was excited about connecting to work and collaborating with my colleagues. Barracuda's company culture is going in the wrong direction.

getting headcounts and not measure everybody by the Ticketcount. We should be a big Team and not just numbers for the Exec

Work load is increasing rapidly at the same time people are leaving due to inflation, we are also releasing updates that are hindering the customer's networks and in some cases completely shutting them down.
