What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership is more about driving technology change and is forgetting about its people in the process. I as well as many others are drained from the demanding work that BDO puts on its employees.

Management is way below B4 and lack organization. Internal training is way below you see in other firms. The firm can be used as temporary shelter not for long term career.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
PTO days and week off between Christmas and New Years

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation at mid level accounting firm is just simply lower than larger big four, or large independent advisory firms. In addition, the amount of work and effort vs my peers is not proportionate to the pay vs peers. Each position has too small of a compensation range. No incentive to work harder

Compensation is reasonable. They tell you about bonus and push to join them, but once your feet is in , good bye bonus talk.

Team members do not have idea what they are required to do. BDO plugs any one that can fill a position, qualification and experiences may not matter as such.
