Since I've arrived, I have felt like more than a simple "new employee." I've felt genuinely taken care of by my supervisors during an unexpected health crisis that somewhat turned my life upside down. Entering recruiting I didn't know what to expect, but I was not expecting to feel this welcomed.
What makes you most happy at work?
1) Getting placements, 2) Getting coached by Dan Blazek, Ross Arneberg, or Jason Berglund, 3) My immediate team is awesome and we're able to work hard but also joke around.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It's not competitive in the traditional sense; We're all motivated by each others success, but also more than willing to help out if anyone has hit a wall with a search string or other candidate search difficulties.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being new to recruiting, I often run into things that confuse me (certain roles, technology jargon, etc etc) but I've never felt uncomfortable asking "stupid" questions. While I consider myself a very coachable person, the coaches I have in Ross, Dan, and Jason are definitely invaluable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're human; They're genuine, funny, and actually seem to care about me outside of my performance. Coming from a background that was the opposite of a standard office job, I didn't know what to expect - But I've been very happy and motivated by the good relationships I've been able to form.
