Its not being undervalued, as it is more of being underutilized. Lack of apt roles in the entire hierarcy is what creates a gap. If the company introduces few dynamic roles and pays for those roles as per market standards, the problem would solve. It would bring in more of work and pay satisfaction.

Tops down leadership, lack of investment and belief that a product is a worthwhile function, lack of psychological safety for communicating concerns, lack of autonomy in deciding what we work on or how it's done. Suggestion is to remove top leaders in LS who embody that dysfunction.

Just listen to suggestion of root level employees. Only the changes what managers feel are done, and even claimed to be justified. I along with my team members raise the time rates were unjustified. They did not hear. But now they changed it and accepted that past rates were impractical.

It's a bro club. If you're not friends with the right people, you will not have the opportunity to move your career forward. Managers are exceedingly junior and have no change management strategy. I have to remind my managers what I work on every single day to get credit or recognition of my value.
