Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

The company sets high expectations and is continuously working to improve processes and technology solutions. This is good. On the other hand, they are scrappy - often don't invest in technology solutions and analytics and still rely a lot on manual procedures & Excel spreadsheets.

They have a lot of ideas.

Very positive, team players for the most part

The culture is very positive. It is truly about the people.

Everyone does seem to be trying to do right by others.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The level of urgency at work is not normal. It is very unorganized. There is so little emphasis on analytics and data, this can most definitely be improved.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Large discrepancy between someone in the same role earning $15-20,000 upon hire. Newcomers earn higher than those with tenure and must jump through hoops and work more to be bumped up.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is very supportive and we have each other's backs. We try our best to find creative ways to be social and get to know each other on a personal level, even in a remote environment.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

When it came time to discuss my performance, zero emphasis was placed on my accomplishments in my previous role which my goals were based on. When roles and responsibilities changed, I wasn't given a new title, offer, or compensation change.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The pace is extremely fast and aggressive. Change, while inevitable, is a constant here which is hard to adjust to after another recent change. In order to grow and improve, it helps to be able to develop a routine and attempt to map out a plan which is hard to do here.
