Concentrix is awesome and I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the company, even if as just an intern. The people here are very welcoming of new staff and I can tell that they want to see me succeed in my role.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Overall, my experience at Concentrix has been a trying one. I am just happy to be employed during this climate, but I am not happy being here. There is work to do to make workers feel more valued.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is super supportive and always have each other's back.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is lots of diversity within the staff of our company which makes me feel more comfortable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because with the things I deal with in my role I feel as though I should be paid more.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like best about the leadership team is that they're very supportive. I feel comfortable with asking them questions and know that they're available whenever I need help.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team strives to work together and help each other when they can. They don't mind assisting you in projects you're doing currently and they're very welcoming of new staff.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The only positive I see about my company is getting to experience people from other cultures. I think the culture beliefs are great, but there should be more leaders following this culture.
What makes you most happy at work?
What makes me most happy at work is collaborating with others in order to complete one common goal. It also makes me happy knowing that I play a positive role within my team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
It's a stressful job at times and it's even harder when you don't feel valued. It does not feel good to be overwhelmed. Better collaboration with other teams that follow our culture would be improved.
What makes you most happy at work?
What makes me most happy at work is getting experience with writing and creating content as an intern. I am very hands on in my team and have so many opportunities to grow as a professional.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to get better at transparency with lower level staff. There have been changes here that were swept under the rug, like changing DEIB to I&B as if diversity and equity are bad terms. This was a quiet change, and no one announced it, obviously because they knew it was wrong.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is awesome and they feel the same pain I do at times. It's sort of like a trauma bond at times with how often things change here. They're always there for help and answer any questions I have. They are my favorite part of working at this company and I couldn't ask for a better team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've been here for 3 years and have never been promoted or awarded more PTO time. I'm not paid fairly for the amount of work I do and really feel that my role in the company isn't appreciated. I would feel better if there was a guaranteed raise after 2 years and based on the length of employment.
