Lack of initiative and everyone seemed to be doing silo work. Employee should lives out the company's values or at least the basic - responsible and dedicated.
Employees need to be proactive and be responsible in their respective job area, own things to make it happen, not wait for magic/miracle to happen, i.e. other people to do their job.
Some leaders listen and care, some are ignorant and do not take initiative or do proper follow-up action, leaving subordinate to solve their own problems. This has been a mixed of both in my career with the team.
Manager/leaders' attitude play a huge part in inspiring and motivating employees to do better. Leadership needs to step up their game to be more caring and empathetic, and not just give instruction or let subordinate handle complex situation even they have reached out for help.
Compensation for employee is far from midpoint, some were hired not even at the minimum range. Even after salary increment, the employee just barely pass the minimum payguide, eventhough employee is already doing superior's job which should at least command a midpoint salary. Salary needs to be fair
