Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

New hires in my position are making considerably more than what I currently make. Having equal if not slightly greater compensation seems only fair.

Every other department pays salaries off of national statistics. My depart does not do that and is below the nation average while doing business in one of the highest cost of living cities in the country.

I do not feel undervalued, but you should know that I am a temporary-permanent hire. What I do not like is that there is no word or time frame for the decision of hiring me. I would feel more at ease if I had a better idea of when the decision will be made. Be more upfront with the temps.

My coworkers are fine, but there is no comradery in my department. I don't feel super connected to my coworkers.

My coworkers are great! I would look more forward to interacting with them if I was not so stressed out about trying to be made permanent. My fear is that if I am seen socializing or having a laughter with them, that it may alter the decision of me being fully hired. Those are my thoughts.

When I received my "training" it was only for 2 days then I was thrown in to try and figure things on my own. I wish people were a little more open to questions and not seem irritated to lend help.

We have access to a Table Tennis table in the break room, playing Table Tennis allows us to de-stress and it is a great little community to be apart of inside the company. I just wish we had a bigger room for the activities, right now we have to play around people who just want to use the break room

What makes you most happy at work?

What makes me most happy is when everyone is in a good mood in the office and we can make a lot of jokes while also maintaining our productivity. That feeling of having fun and knocking out important tasks synonymously feels amazing.

The fact that I am able to work freely and give my best work. I do not work well if I have a boss constantly hovering over me. However at Curative, I am able to give it my all and let my work speak for itself. As a temp, I want the higher ups to take notice and say "Let's keep him, he's great!"

Even though Salaried Employees have Flex Time off with no limits, the culture does not seem to want to give enough time off for employees. I'd rather know how much time off I get per year and then not feel guilty taking it.
