I came to Dunkn excited and ready to help. I have constantly by my GM, been told that I am not good at anything and not to follow the training videos. I am constantly listening to other employees cussing out customers by the majority of the staff including the GM. Im disappointed to say the least.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview was positive and I was told a lot of things that never came to fruition
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The GM sets a horrible example of how to run everything and is empowering her employees to follow her example much to the detriment of the store
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership and having care or concern for all her employees not just a select few. Taking care of bodily functions should never be counted as a break from work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My assistant manager. And honestly with the right direction I think the other employees would excel at their jobs also and be better than they are being allowed to be right now.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was told I valued myself too highly by my GM when I pointed out safety and dress requirements. As to compensation, I really just expected to be treated like a human being.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They need to understand that the customer is the reason we're there. They constantly belittle humiliate and swear at customers. Every day. The Assistant manager is trying to pull things together, but is restricted by the GM and her authority. He is being fought left and right just following safety.
