Our manager at the store does not care about her employees. If one is sick or gets hurt they are forced to still continue working. Everyday she yells at people to over work themselves even if they are new employees. She constantly asks for people to work overtime so she doesnt have to be there.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They continue to help out and do the best they can so nobody is struggling. Everybody puts in equal effort to get things done. Whenever you need somebody to be there they will show up (only if the manager isnt there)
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do overtime about 3 hours everyday and i always come in on my one day off. I still get paid less than new employees who dont even work full shift. I talked to the manager about it but she just wants to argue about it.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The manager is disrespectful and she loses workers even if they worked a day. With the short staff and over working the ones who stayed, customers see her yell at the employees. Customers constantly tell us to push through our shift. She needs to be nicer or we need a new manager.
