My manager trying to keep us happy despite negative comments from customers

some of my coworkers back talk the customers who do not treat us well and it does not end well
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe for the rate of what is expected to be completed and the early and late hours people have to work sometimes there should be better pay
