Overall I enjoy working there. The work, though stressful at time, is still enjoyable. The issues arise when certain managers don't take their leadership role as an actual chance to lead by example and teach to create a confident and capable staff and instead choose to belittle, demean and judge.
What makes you most happy at work?
When everyone is working together to do things we'll and make sure the customers are taken care of properly
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers being happy and kind are the best thing about the job. Sometimes a simple cup of coffee or donut and a smile or kind work can really go a long way.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The rest of the team is great. They are understanding, they communicate effectively, for the most part,(no one is perfect). They all treat one another equally and speak to each other with respect not just extreme aggression.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I'm going to continue to be treated so poorly I expect to at minimum be fairly compensated for it. I currently only take home $150 a week working 3 days a week. I'm also a single mom. If I ask for more hours they intentionally schedule me for when I have parental obligations. Then get mad I can't
