Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

In the last 2 years, I got a total 10% hike, which is the lowest in the industry (Avg. 5% per year). I was told i an expect more but not much happened. I was told there will be an additional variable compensation but did not get any update from my manager or HR.

The compensation must be more competitive for a tenured individual like me. Health & Accident insurance & ESOPs must be included.
