The compensation is extremely low compared to the market standards when you are promoted internally. However there arises a huge disparity when hiring an external resource to do the same role; the difference in compensation and benefits is almost 80 to 100%.
Unlike the execs and Leadership team in India, the rest of the exec pack has been honest, transparent, and rewarding. The best part about the Global Leadership team is the vision that drives the organization which benefits primarily our Sitel employees and equally our clients.
I believe the biased and fallible opinion in the leadership team from India refuses to pay fair compensation to an employee. Even with sufficient justification, demanding for one's increment ends at a losing bargain. The most disappointing lie is -If I increase salary for you, others will demand too
