I feel that I have learned and changed a lot, contributing to the company positively. I feel that employees deserve a more frequent merit increase that is performance-based. The amount of increase doesn't need to be huge, just what's fair to the company and employee.
I humbly think that my contributions and consistent excellent performance delivery deserves a merit increase. However, the company only reviews your worth when you submit a resignation letter as you already have a Job Offer from another company. They would try to save you when you are ready to leave
