What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to understand that we are people first. Newsletters celebrate tone-deaf "wins" of keeping minimum wages down through government policy lobbying. This is not demonstrating value of our shoppers, who built our business.

Listening to their teams/orgs/company. Decisions are made in a vacuum and don't include important people and their experiences. This company seems to hire smart, experienced people, and then stands in their way.

Our annual equity refreshers are on the low side in comparison to what I've heard in the market

I feel that there are definitely higher paying roles for the same (if not less) responsibility and expectations set out for recruiters in Toronto. It's a very competitive space in Tech now. I'd also like to see Instacart match industry standards around RRSP matching, annual bonuses& fitness spending

As someone who is a part of a team that directly contributes to the growth of the company, I would like to see more competitive compensation. I believe that Instacart is above market compensation in general, but when compared to the companies we aim to be, we fall short.

High turnover/attrition, culture has become toxic, and constant change. While change is inevitable at a company our size, the decisions seem to be made with only short term goals/results in mind. There is also seemingly no care about employee engagement or morale. We do not have a CHRO and it shows
