Having enough staff, having a good shift, teaching and spending time with a patient, and caring for all the patient's needs during the shift.

Some of the staff who were going to be working with were the staff that interviewed you. So you get an idea if the culture and if it's a good fit for you.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Considering the nursing shortage, nurses at the bedside are in demand. They are the backbone of hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers, etc. Without them, the hospital could not function. Nurses and doctors should be paid more.
