What makes you most happy at work?

Seeing my patients and spending time with my coworkers.

What did you like most about the interview process?

It was clear, professional, and the team was friendly.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Staff are overworked, underpaid, undervalued, and close to burnout. Hiring more people, giving more time off, and being open and clear about communication and policies would help morale.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We have great people on my immediate team. They are all professionals who are passionate about helping our members and supporting each other in the work we do.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Our leadership needs to be more consistent with "walking the talk". They talk about caring for members but then don't provide care by delaying it and not treating their staff well. Staff are overworked and underpaid.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We do the same job as others in other states but don't get anywhere near comparable pay or time off, despite working for the same organization. More pay and more time off along with a defined benefit pension would make me feel better about compensation.
