My team fosters a fairly laid-back atmosphere, with lots of room to take individual initiative, while at the same time staying highly engaged in the inception and production of new content.
The branch of the company I work in is collegial, growth-oriented, and yet also fairly laid-back (my team more so than average). My department's management team is very approachable, encouraging, and responsive to team members' ideas and feedback. The work-life balance is great.
In my 3+ years here, Faithlife has provided an agile, stimulating work environment with lots of room to learn and grow. The company tries hard to foster a good work:life balance, and I'm quite satisfied with how responsive the leadership is to employee feedback.
The generous vacation policy is what really stands out about Faithlife's benefits package. The healthcare benefits are good and fair too, and in 2017 the leadership team went to great lengths to adapt the health insurance plan so it would better cover spouses and families.
My interview was a little unusual. A friend connected me to people at Faithlife, and the company created a new position for me to start a new project that had been under consideration for a while. The interview was done over video chat and was fairly informal. There was a short take-home test.
