What is the best part about your compensation package?

Excellent health coverage for myself and payment (spread out over a year) of each year's deductible.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The culture is actually pretty good and overall quite positive, especially because many of the employees live by Christian values.

What makes you most happy at work?

Being able to improve the products we sell, or that are already shipped to customers, is what most drives me and makes me satisfied in the work that I do.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Over the last couple years, Bob and the Executive Team have to a focused vision for the company (“Growing in the light of the Bible”), after a few years of less focused marketshare

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all bring different strengths to our collaborations, but share the trait of being able to work independently when necessary, but also give each other help at those times we most need it.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Talking personally with the CEO as part of the screening process. At that time, the company was about a third the size that is now, but still big enough that it meant a lot for the CEO to do that.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The shared faith that most of us have contributes to a good moral culture that is simultaneously serious about working hard. Along with that, the company has an excellent record of hiring smart people who get things done, and always with a good attitude.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

My professional growth, mostly. It may be that much is required of me to enact professional growth, but much more is certainly required of them to see that I am advancing in the technologies I use day to day, and those in my department and throughout the company.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Based on my knowledge of the product from several years' experience, expertise in using code to manage and ship data, and my employers' trust in my ability to get stuff done without concern, I feel that I have more value than what is reflected in my annual salary.
