
I feel undervalued because I am paid less than most of the people I manage and I am paid significantly less than a colleague who manages less people and has roughly the same title as me. I cannot get a raise because our department budget has not allowed for it for the past few years.
I love what I do and I believe in the mission of the company. However, I do not feel adequately compensated. My wage is below average for my position. In the past this was manageable, but changes in my personal life necessitate more pay. I don't want to leave, but I don't see a raise in sight.
