Customer service! and have a human being answer the phone when there is trouble!!! Two hours to get a live person is awful! There are over 100 phones out and we couldn't get in personal touch w/you. Only when we called that we had a business line out did we get a live person.
Hr doesn't help new ways to save money all about taking from the workers

How many women are in your team? is it diverse enough?
enough yes diversity has come before customer service and other mission critical product requirements.
2 on our team and no. The management team is pretty bad. No women or minority managers in our region. CenturyLink is a great place for women who have no aspirations for promotions or significant income potential. If you are happy to stay where you are, make little money, take whatever small raises they give you, and never complain while doing miserable work, then you will survive at CenturyLink.
Zero women on my team. I don't believe in diversity, I believe in the most qualified candidate for the job.

CenturyLink does not believe in promoting people, you have to be a stellar employee in order to get a raise or promotion otherwise you get nothing, if your late to work one day you can forget a raise

Not to bad, if you have more than 5 years you get a severance
No notice of any kind and you’re left with nothing no matter how hard you have worked for them
They pretty much tell you your last day is this and best of luck to you. Very very little notice. Handled extremely poorly, no severence.

Call center environment, agents have to deal with adherence, availability and half dozen other calling metrics and on top of that high pressure to perform above quota. Typically agents are required to work 40 hours per week and when available overtime is mostly voluntary.
No appreciation for what you do or how hard you work.

What's the Sales team like at Lumen (formerly CenturyLink)?
The supervisors handle teams of 10 to 12 agents. While on the phones you're on your own. Brakes and lunches are based on schedules and call volume and for the most part the only time to interact with coworkers. Company does every quarter or so team buildings among other activities.

Hate going and seeing my managers car in the parking lot every day.
I hate working for CenturyLink as soon as I find something else I'm quitting this stress is not worth the money

10-12 hours a day. 10 lbs in a 2 lb bag
Hostile work environment.
Moral is low. Currently working 40 hours per week with some callout. 40 hours per week is not enough to get the expected work complete, but currently, no overtime is allowed unless it is a callout situation.
