I'm glad I've had the opportunity to work with Medela for as long as I have. I'd like to see more growth opportunies for employees, specifically communicated career plans from HR.

Overall, Medela is turning a corner which is giving me hope for the organization. I'd like to see more reinvestment in employees as promised after Shape (compensation, promotion, etc).

When I advocated for improved pay, my manager took this seriously and HR accepted the request. I appreciate that.

I do not personally know the leadership team as they are all new in the past 6 months or less.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Project shape only eliminated positions but the workload did not changes. We now have to do the work of many.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I think we're headed in a more positive direction. I am especially impressed with the flexible working arrangements and the work-life balance as a team.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

It's challenging as a manager to be able to promote or improve compensation for my team. HR does not have defined career paths for the business.

What makes you most happy at work?

I truly believe we make/sell a great product that helps many. I have faith our CEO sees the current state of our leadership and makes drastic changes quickly to save our company before we lose even more great team members.

What makes you most happy at work?

The Digital Marketing team is exceptional. They are experts in their field and incredibly valuable. I am so proud of their determination and positivity, despite constantly taking one step forward and two steps back with pauses, changing roles and responsibilities, and changing expectations.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Your pay band should be public so you know where you sit within your total compensation opportunity. There should also be a proactive career plan made and delivered to each employee. There is no communicated growth to employees or managers to support their employees.
