We really support each other and have full trust in each other to complete our jobs/tasks.

Everyone works toward a common goal...supporting mom and baby! It's such a rewarding place to work.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They listen, make decisions when requested, and are very responsive when urgent topics arise. This is appreciated very much!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Employees are told consistently that leadership will work to improve overall day-to-day. That has yet to happen and support has been worse.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like that they continue to approach challenges with an open mindset for listening to the data and then making logical decisions based on the data (and sticking with the decisions!).

Their ability to listen to information then make informed, direct decisions. I love decisiveness! It makes my job much easier when we have clear decisions that are understood by all.

We all work together to find solutions to any and all problems. Its never a case of who's to blame, but more how do we fix this together to better the company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We all have a common goal of supporting our customers as best as we can. It's fulfilling to know that the products we develop / mfg have a direct impact on our customers lives.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The bonus program. It's always nice hearing that you're doing a good job, but when you actually see it in the form of additional compensation, it's even better. Provides enough incentive to go above and beyond.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all work together to get our projects done. There is never an instance where we won't stop what we're working on to help a fellow co-worker achieve a critical project milestone. We don't let each other fail.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Local team is amazing! We all truly work together as one unit and support each other with every project need, stepping up to support each other (even when not directly working on a given project), and having fun all the while.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The current workload is causing employees to burnout and we continue to pile on more and more. When recruiting new employees, the starting salaries are more than what is offered for experienced workers at Medela. Makes me consider looking elsewhere.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

In Jan 2021, my reporting structure changed to a global role. As a result, I lost responsibility locally which reduced my salary by $26K and yet, I work more hours now than I ever have in all of my 10 years at Medela.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are truly a team that has become a family! Everyone always pitches in to help each other succeed, even if that means you help with work that you wouldn't normally do. As a result, the entire team succeeds and we grow stronger.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Medela's culture is amazing! It is clear that everyone who works here has our patient's needs at heart. We are extremely passionate about the products that we make and understand the impact that these have on our customer's lives, which drives quality in everything that we do.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Everyone is trying their hardest to do the right thing, even when there is not a clear path to do so. Working together to solve problems / create solutions, even when times are extremely difficult and challenging. We have a lot of really great, dedicated people.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Everyone's heart is in their work because we know that the products we make will improve the quality of life of our patients. Even on the most stressful of days, that remains a common theme throughout the business which really makes a difference in how you approach challenges.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is amazing! We all share a common goal of designing the best products for Medela and will work together to overcome any obstacle thrown our way. There is no task that we aren't willing to pitch in and help on, even if it falls outside of our "normal role" . We succeed together!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

In the last year, I change reporting structures to a global role and as a result lost some local responsibilities that I was compensated for as 'bonus pay'. Now I work more hours than I ever have before (12+ hours per day, every day), at lower pay and have not received a pay increase in 2 years.
