Overall my experience is extremely positive. I have said before I want to be a "lifer" at Medela and still mean that. However, I have had several manager changes since I began and the career development I would like to see for myself has been minimal from management. Regardless I love Medela!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I began my career on the healthcare side of the business and was unfortunately displaced during an organizational re-structuring in 2021. I was thankful enough to be able to come back to the NICU and Maternity side of the business and could not be happier. That speaks volumes about Medela.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am pleased that the compensation package has changed for this year specific to commission.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that what I do will make a difference in the lives of mommas and babies!!!

Knowing I have a stellar product that my customers love and that I am helping the clinicians and mommas with their babies.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That the core values Medela has as a company mirror mine. The family team atmosphere is an attribute I hold very dear regarding my career at Medela.

They are willing to invest in their employees to make them better which in turn will also help the company! I love Medela and plan to be here for a very very long time!

I truly work with the BEST group of people. Lots of tenure and experience which will only add to help me being successful! They listen, are helpful and we truly have the epitome of teamwork!
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy knowing I am making a positive impact on my customers in helping them care for patients and knowing I am making a difference in the healing process for a wound care patient.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
This team is excellent at keeping our Core Behaviors at the forefront of our business initiatives while keeping the human element of their people in focus. I am proud to be a Medela employee and plan to be a lifer!!!

I like that the goals and direction of the company as a whole are clear and the excitement around those goals can be felt from the top down. Leadership does a great job with integrating with everyone especially during our NSM.

They are invested in me not only as an employee but also as a person and continue to provide me tools to improve myself! They listen and engage in dialogue with me to improve my business and help me be successful! I have THE BEST MANAGER!

My team is the epitome of what team players look like! Everyone is willing to assist the other and help out or give advice when needed and I never feel that I cannot call on any of them!! A truly wonderful group of people to work with!
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like to be able to get perspectives from all of my counterparts and they are always willing to share best practices for selling our product. We are all in this together and the trust level I have with my counterparts is paramount to being successful. Teamwork definitely does make the dream work.
