I have been at Medela or 9 years, and I love the overall experience. The high and the lows have helped me grow as a worker and i have had the opportunity to learn and slowly grow.
I like how they inform us quarterly of what is going on in the company
Using my knowledge and experience to help others when needed. Using core behaviors on a daily basis.
Making a difference in the company, helping other teams when needed and using my knowledge during crisis
They are constantly finding ways to engage with in our teams. Showing appreciation when needed, and when necessary.
We balance the workload, if there is an individual out of office the others pick up the extra work.
Our communication is strong, and with having a shortage of members we still manage to balance the work flow well.
I love the interaction with others, along with helping others whether its small or big. all the help makes a difference
Growth within the organization can be challenging. it seems as if promotions are given, but the position itself does not have equal opportunity for others to apply for.
In the end of the day, whether we are Quality/Operations/Ops Eng/R&D/Marketing our goal is our customers, mothers, babies in need. We are ONE Medela, and there are so many personnel that advertise that.
I love how the family/work/life/balance is valued at Medela. The company supports this and makes it easier for parents to be there for their children no matter what day or time. its greatly appreciated
We have such an amazing positive energy within our team. We work hard every day, but we find ourselves laughing at the end of a successful week. To me that makes the hard/ stressful week worth it.
I have moved within the organization about 4 times with 4 different job roles. However, when you promote within vs hire outside the pay is different. Those being hired in tend to make more money then those who have worked hard for promotions.
