Being able to balance work and life
I like the communications and transparency..
Very supportive, energetic and hardworking.
Townhalls, intranet and communications. Not too fond of the new EVP.
Being able to work remotely - I feel I'm more productive
Everyone i work with are friendly and work with you to get things done.
Medela cares about your family time and are flexible when their needs become priority.
They are an awesome, agile, hardworking group that supports other teams to get their jobs done!
Variety of my role, freedom to make it my own and grow opportunities when I see them.
We are a fairly new team so we are still getting to know each other - generally everyone is very nice and supportive, and help each other.
Reevaluation of role against comparable markets. I believe newer individuals get higher pay coming in - since i've been here longer my pay rate has been pulled down by what the rate of my first role I came into Medela as rather than what my actual responsibilities and experience entail.
I'm not sure HR understands my role fully (and updates to my job description/title seem to take way too long). With the trimming of staff and roles not being backfilled, workloads are at a max and responsibilities don't allow for you to be an expert or stay ahead of tasks and be more strategic.
I requested my job description be reviewed multiple times and put on hold multiple times as management continued to changed. I checked similar jobs in the market and am underpaid for what I do because nobody seems to understand fully what I do nor allow me to do what I need to do to move forward.
