Disappointing, lack of skilled management in HR and employee relations.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Enjoy been together and each others commitment to work and meeting work goals.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Doing skilled work and seeing higher paid non-skilled workers paid more. Treated with respect and acknowledged for good work not only when errors are made.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The energy from the sales and marketing teams, they have good managers who take care of their employees. They mentor and offer support in family life too.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Collaboration, consultation, honesty, direction, teamwork, respect for employees, clear work guidelines, accepting gifts from employees who are underperforming, rewarding hard work, flexible with mums with young children.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Micromanagement of staff and blocking sales due to perceived compliance issues. The compliance issues are enforced when it suits the person to block sales and it difficult for some sales people to operate. Finance should not be allowed to dictate if orders can be processed.
