Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

We have taken our eye off the ball and are losing sight of what should guide us..we need to listen to our end users needs and not assume we know them. We need to be leaders in product innovations again!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The transparancy shown during town hall mtgs

That we work from home-independance

I very much appreciate how involved Annette is and feel she truly believes in Medela.

That so many people have stayed with the company over 20 yrs-show how dedicated we are to supporting breastfeeding moms!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We are totally unprepared for product issues - we need better contingency plans with our partners in production(molds, components) and have safety stock.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I very much appreciate the healthcare benefits-the ZERO plan for prescriptions is amazing and has been an immense savings for me this year!

What are some of the best things about your team?

The tenured members. We still remember the "old Medela" and truly care about what we do and see nursing moms and babies at the core of all we do!

What are some of the best things about your team?

I very much value the tenured reps in our Region. They know and appreciate the "family feel that Medela had at one time." I value their sincerity and consider them "true friends".

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel I should have a higher base salary based on tenure and my additional licensure.Our commissions should be paid out based on a growth percentage comparing our own month to month growth and not some ridiculous formula we can neer figure out.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We have lost our way- driven by $ and not customer centric. Choosing to market bottles and teats, adding pacifiers, allowing marketing to steer our business. Were innovation leaders, now we are followers. We should stick to what we are best at- breastmilk. Let go of the HC business!
