It depends on the department you are in. Our dept is one of those really nice place that you will enjoy working on with competitive salary. And an active CEO for updates.

The leadership is very transparent when it comes to communicating with employees and keeping employees updated about how the company is doing, etc. Feedback from employees on all levels is welcome and employees are valued. "Open door" policy is actually a real thing, unlike other places I've worked.

Stock units are provided, health insurance

Complete benefits. Unlike other semicon companies which are not that complete.

RSU's and ESPP. Microchip has done very well as a company over the last few years and I've made a lot of money on the stock.

Quarterly bonuses. But it would be good if they are actually paid out every quarter and not delayed

MCHP makes a point of paying the absolute minimum. Most people only stick around long enough to realize they will never get a raise.

Meetings are just terrible. No plan, no schedule, just a projector and some guy who did not prepare.... That is what they call a meeting.

Its values based, so not a lot of senseless rules, its about doing the right thing and empowering employees to make ethical decisions and continue to grow professionally. Mgmt will support you, even when you screw up as long as your acting with integrity and good intentions.

The interviewer like the person who is not for money literally. You are applying because you can do anything related to your course or exp confidently and your attitude/approach must be nice.
