Recognizing the talent we already have in house. The people who built this company, and have proven results - instead of thinking we need to hire externally, and bring in 20+ year exp. VPs from Microsoft and Dell.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There's little respect for folks outside of product and brand marketing. Compensations are also almost double even if the folks have the same work ex.

No one judges you. It's a place where you can speak freely and be yourself. For example, I wear sweatpants and basketball jerseys to work, and no one cares. It's not a place that focuses on external appearance as a way to judge someone.

We take the time to vet for more than just skills. We look for great people with a good heart, who are caring and positive and that will add to the company culture we are building.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
If senior execs can see below their level and empathize with their reports around the world, that'd go a long way. There's a leaky bucket with employee retention and no one is even noticing until someone's final notice comes in.

I said the exact same thing last year, but take risks. Innovate the brand. We're boring on social and have confused messaging. Outside of SMBs, we're not a well-known brand. Go all-in on brand and tighten up the messaging. The difference between homepage and webpages is glaring.
