What do you like best about the leadership team?
The owner of our store is a very hard worker who works day to day like any of us. My department supervisor is personable and actually takes a personal interest in her department.

communication, repairs & updates of equipment over 20+ years old, supporting staff with employee non performance issues.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For every department learned or new skill compensation should reflect that. Holiday pay. Bonus for closing store.

I feel undervalued because some of our department heads or managers hardly do any work at all, meanwhile receive more pay and benefits than the rest of us do.

My coworkers are great for the most part. There are a few that need improvement or dismissed but management doesn't step in to address issues.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
the place is very old fashioned. we mainly stock the same old things. other companies will stock a bunch if new things as they come. pay is low. pay is low. pay is low
