I work 8 hours with no breaks. Kids who are underage work past the curfew. We still have to pay for food, and pay for winter uniforms. The abuse of workers rights is unbelievable.
What makes you most happy at work?
Some of my regulars are amazing and will tip well they are what keep carhops at sonic going
What are some of the best things about your team?
My peers are amazing, my only complaint is that we have to train the newcomers and we will not get compensated for that position.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I at this point the positivity from the carhops is all that is keeping me here. They are amazing to work with and we all deserve to be paid more.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We don't get nearly enough benefits for the work we do. A lot of the promised benefits like free food, a minimum wage pay, and free uniforms are not available to us.
